Hello there!👋 I'm Zhanina Lazarova, and my journey into the fascinating world of design commenced when I enrolled in Brainster's UX/UI Academy. Brainster, an internationally recognized tech-ed institution, became the launching pad for my exploration into the realm of user experience and interface design.
During my time at Brainster, I immersed myself in the profound significance of human-centered design. I acquired invaluable insights into crafting interfaces that are not just visually appealing but also intuitive and engaging. I was honored to be recognized as a Dream Team Student by the mentors, a testament to my dedication and passion for the craft. I had the privilege to work on various projects, from e-commerce platform to crowdfunding and fundraising initiatives, eco educational platform, and even disability-friendly site, each project presented a unique set of challenges and learning opportunities. The adrenaline of the 48-hour hackathons was a thrilling highlight of this hands-on experience.
Currently, I work as a UX/UI Designer and Supervisor within the dynamic Creative Media Department at Siciliamia, an innovative Italian startup. Leading a talented team of four individuals, I oversee the design process from conception to execution, ensuring our projects exceed expectations. In this role, I adeptly distribute tasks, monitor progress, and maintain seamless communication with cross-functional teams on a daily basis. We work simultaneously on diverse range of projects, including luxury bed and breakfast website, hospitality services platform, and captivating chocolate e-commerce. Together, we're dedicated to delivering unparalleled design solutions that resonate with our audience and elevate the Sicilian hospitality experience to new heights. Working in a startup environment at Siciliamia is a whirlwind of dynamic challenges and rapid growth, yet the experience gained is invaluable for my personal and professional development.
My creativity extends beyond the digital realm – I am an avid artist with a love for painting and drawing, specializing in portraits and landscapes. Additionally, I possess a natural gift for writing compelling narratives and engaging content. Beyond the pixels and canvases, I'm a proud cat person and a dedicated animal lover.
